<p>I’m a junior who would like to get one of my teachers to write a recommendation, however, i will not be at the school next year and neither will she. </p>
<p>I was originally going to ask the teacher before the summer break, but the common app teacher recommendation form currently available is for the year 2011/2012 (I’m applying) - can I just get her to fill out that one? Or will colleges not accept it? How should i go about this?</p>
<p>If you possibly can, contact this teacher now. If she is willing to write you a recommendation in the fall, you can invite her to submit it electronically, or you can send her a paper copy of the recommendation form (and a stamped, addressed envelope for each college or university you’re applying to) through the mail.</p>
<p>Come the fall, it will still be perfectly all right for this person to write you a recommendation, even though you and she will not be in the same school any longer.</p>
