Teacher Recommendations for Marshall

<p>Hello USC forums,</p>

<p>I am nearly done with my application and I only have to ask for recommendations to be finished. The two teachers I am considering are History and English teachers, but I am applying to Business and I hear that a math background is necessary. I have done good in most of my math classes throughout high school, but I don’t want to ruin my chances of getting into Marshall. I know both of these teachers very well and one of them is my coach, so I am sure that I will get excellent recommendations.</p>

<p>Have whatever teachers know you best personally write the letters of recommendation as that will come across stronger than if you find some math professor who does not know you well. As far as the math background goes, you only need up to Calc I, it isn’t like engineering or hard sciences where a solid math background is required.</p>
