<p>Varies a great deal. Some undergraduate schools have a premedical committee, in which case you need to defer to their wishes.</p>
<p>If you don’t, then medical schools will all demand different things from you separately and you’ll have to chase everything down on your own. Basically, you’d have to ask each of the medical schools you’re applying to what they want.</p>
<p>For me it depends on how close I was to the professor.</p>
