<p>I’m interested in applying to Penn Engineering but the teachers that I have gotten close to in hs are ironically my English and Italian teachers. I also have a science research mentor that I can ask though for a supplemental. Both of those teachers said they would write fantastic recs for me. I knew my 10th grade math teacher decently well but I think she will write me something generic. I definitely want to ask my italian teacher but I’m not sure who to ask between my english and math teacher… Basically my question is do they appreciate quality of the recommendation over a recommendation from a teacher teaching the “right” subject?</p>
