So 2 weeks ago I ‘took’ the AP American Lang test. However, due to extreme lethargy (I was hungry af and had football practice the previous day), and a minor headache from lack of sleep, I was just completely unable to take the test. I didn’t even get through the MC section (had like 10+ more questions to go), and thought that since there’s virtually no way I was going to get a 3, decided to just sleep throughout the essay portion.
However, my teacher told me that if you fail to complete a large portion of the test, you could get reported. I was wondering if that statement holds ANY weight.
Probably the same teacher that told you that talking in class would go on your permanent record. No, it’s not true.
Am I missing something here?
@collegemom3717 Lol, what? I knocked it out of the park on my other AP test (AT LEAST a 4 on my others). However, with the Lang test I was feeling awful.
You could get reported to who? For what? And resulting in what consequence?
I would imagine the only thing that’s going to happen is a very low score on your test…
Your teacher is an idiot.
It reflects poorly on the teacher if students do poorly, so it does a disservice to the teacher not to do one’s best.
