<p>I’m going to be a freshman majoring in Engineering next fall. Can someone tell me which teachers are the best and which teachers should I avoid taking classes from? Is there another website that addresses this question or is CC the best site to get this information?</p>

<p>ratemyprofessors.com is a great site. however, be aware that for the most part, MATH professors are never posted until right before a semester starts, so that is a crapshoot. right now, a lot of professors are not listed for Fall 2011 classes yet either. but it is always worth a look. I can at least tell you this, my daughter (who is also an Engineering major) had Angela Ware for Sociology in her first semester freshman year for a 9:00 class, and LOVED her and was always anxious to go (and that is saying a lot for a kid who definitely prefers the sciences and math). Some classes only have one teacher for them (i.e., Matlab) so you have to live with what you get. </p>
