Teaching Chinese

Is it a good job to teach Chinese? I can speak both English and Chinese, so is it good for me to teach foreigners Chinese? I am really wondering about this question and I have to descide what I want to do in the future, so this is really important for me to figure out.

The simple answer is: No, it is not a good job to teach Chinese.
You are required to have at least a Master in Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language in U.S to be able to teach Chinese in both undergrad or high school levels.
You will also face a lot of competitions from abroad, such as the visiting teachers from Confucius Institute. They get paid around 2000 dollar a month to teach in America, and from what I know, they are not only grateful but quite happy about it. So if you are willing to compete with those people, you are very welcome to.
However, it is a good idea to teach English to Chinese. You can make boatload of money by doing that.
