<p>Can any current Rice students give me information on the teaching program at Rice (ratings, professors, etc)? We have checked out the three different choices and d will probably be doing the undergraduate which she has to apply to her sophmore year… is the program hard to get into? Any and all information would be really appreciated. Her goal at first was to just get her undergrad in English then get masters and doctorate because her main goal was to become an academia, LOL, an english professor, but now that she is going to Rice and the money is going to be so tight she thought maybe she could get her undergrad in teaching, work as a “regular” teacher while continuing her education towards the goal of professorship…this way she can pay as she goes for her additional schooling or maybe get susidized by her employer… any thoughts on this?</p>
