@Ocscout
UCLA did not read my Personal Statement and I was admitted.
From what I have heard, UCB is the school that reads most of
the Personal Statements and UCLA looks more at the Stats.
Of course we should always write good personal statements anyway.
Because you never know who might read those dastardly things!
Anyway, I am sure UCLA never read mine. Cheers!

Accepted with aggregate UC-transferable GPA of ~3.3 (current CC GPA of 3.8; previous college GPA was also factored in, where I had a harder time, which dragged it down), Sociology major, TAG agreement.

Anyone from LA gonna gonna go check out the school? How are you planning on getting there? I cant decide…car or plane

might be fun to drive. then you will really get a feel for the surroundings and have a fun road trip? congratulations. davis is a fantastic school!

Seems like the perfect excuse for a road trip! Plus, Davis isn’t a big city so having a car might make it easier to explore the surroundings. You could also rent a car, but the costs might be the same as just driving up there.

I would definitely drive. I live about 45 minutes from davis and its around 15 minutes from Sacramento and 15 minutes from Vacaville. Davis is a very safe city, with a lot of great places to eat. If you like shopping, vacaville has tons of outlets and Sacramentos mall is pretty big. I love the feeling the campus. Everyone is very nice and spontaneous.

You guys are right. I better start making a playlist then =] Thanks!

Are you going to go on Transfer Day?
