Hi all. Question about what should go in the additional info section…so far I have elaborated on a few of my activities and put a short description of a one time service project. Since I’m interested in pre med, I have taken some lab classes where I learned things like gel electrophoresis, PCR, chromatography, etc. Is it applicable to list these skills in the additional info section, or would it be unecessary/pretentious? I thought it could be appropriate given that I mentioned in a lot of my essays that I’m interested in research. Thanks!

It certainly doesn’t hurt to mention them. However, I think putting these skills in context, as in incorporating them into an internship you might have done or a project that you might be conducting or something of that sort, might make them look stronger than just saying “I learned X or Y research skill.”
