Techno music and 31337 People

<p>Hello Umich. </p>

<p>I am debating wether to start DJing as a hobby while persuing a rigurious degree. </p>

<p>Is there an audience for rave/trance/techno/hardstyle/hardcore/jumpstyle etc. music/parties at Umich?</p>

<p>How is the computer geeks/gamers fanbase over there? As in the hacker/l33t types. I thought I saw a place somewhere on the website where people were chilling and playing WoW/Starcraft/Warcraft or something; like a LAN party sort of. Please tell me about it. This remembers me of Europe and its internet cafes… good times.</p>

<p>I’d say there is a very big music everything scene in A2. The one and only night my friends went took me out one friday night I saw a rave blasting techno, and that was on a dead night.</p>

<p>Still my question remains, how is the computer geek community at michigan? I noticed that umich is really involved in iOS development. Are there any computer clubs/hangouts/LAN parties?</p>
