<p>Hello, on the Add Course page, there’s the blank “CEC: (If you have one)” What does this mean?</p>
<p>Also, how do I know if a course is a letter grade course or Pass/No Pass course?</p>
<p>1) A CEC is most probably a Course Entry Code. Some courses require a code to join, but it’s rare.</p>
<p>2) If both ‘letter grade’ and ‘P/NP’ are available as options, then it can be taken for a letter grade OR P/NP. If it is a pre-req, you MUST take it for a letter grade (unless P/NP is the only option). It’s best to wait for a while before changing it to P/NP though. If the class is exclusively P/NP, then you will only be able to select the P/NP option.</p>
