<p>Are there telecommuting opportunities with a computer engineering degree or an electrical engineering degree?? What kind?</p>

<p>I haven’t heard of anyone being hired to work from home. Normally everyone that I have worked with in the past that went down this path worked at the company for a bit, showed that they were responsible, and then were able to do this. This was not for engineering, but for a couple different types of jobs. I also know someone who works for cisco that went down this same path too. She now works mostly from home, but it took her a while to get to this position.</p>
<p>The other option is to start your own company (e.g. an independent consulting business), but that comes with its own set of challenges.</p>
<p>^Especially for a new grad with no experience/reputation to build on.</p>
