Has anyone used the tv straps you use often for the purpose of not having a flat screen topple over??
D2 is going to be moving in a new apt and they want to use the fireplace mantel (non-working) to place their 43" flat screen on. They are not allowed to mount it on the wall. D is concerned that the mantel is not too deep and for safety’s sake was thinking of using the straps to secure the tv to the wall at the mantel (so, two screws which we think would be ok)
Worthwhile or not? Preferred set of straps you used that were easy to install??
