Televisions

Think I could fit a 32" television in a dorm room. I’m staying in Arts and Humanities.

pretty sure u can

yep, i know upperclassmen that have.

sorry to piggyback on ur question, but are there two separate tv cables in each room, one for each roommate to hav their own tv, or just one tv cable?

I’m pretty sure there’s one cable hookup in the freshman dorms.

That would fit. There’s only one cable hook up in each bedroom.

I had a 32" LCD HDTV in my dorm in marks tower last year. Worked out just fine. Used the 2 dressers side by side as a stand

Hi,
I assume there is no need for cable box as long as the TV is cable ready, right?
Thanks.

There’s no box. If you have a newer TV that has an ATSC tuner built in (most do), then you’ll be able to get a bunch of HD channels, too. Most of the broadcast stations are definitely in HD, and towards the end of last year they added some cable ones, too.

nberg5,
Thanks for the information!
