Suggestions anyone for a desperately needed new kitchen faucet? I want one with separate handles for hot and cold water, a tall spout, and a separate sprayer. Made in USA preferred. Made in Canada OK.

Happymomof1, while I cannot recommend any faucets with your desired configuration (I’m a one-handle, pull-out sprayer faucet person), there are many styles that are made in the US. For lower priced options, look at American Standatd, Moren and Delta. They have manufacturing plants in the US and Canada, but since they also make stuff in China, you have to look at each product individually to see where it is made. I suspect a specialty bath and kitchen hardware store will have a better selection of US-made faucets than your typical HD or Lowe’s.

Here is a discussion of faucets “not made in China” on Gardenweb:

This is an interesting website that has lists of US-made bathroom and kitchen fixtures. Some gorgeous stuff!

My kitchen faucet is a Grohe - it’s made in Germany. We had a problem w a crack in a small plastic part (the only plastic on it - where handle met hose). We called customer service to buy a new part, as it was 10 years old; they shipped us one the next day at no charge.

Agree you need to stay away from faucets from “big boxes” and instead head to a plumbing supply company.

Most anything bought at a local craft fare, or using local designers…

^^^ That reminds me, I love my alpaca mittens. Soooo warm. Time to get them out.
