but who said our little donny wasn’t socially inept?

He did say he was shy, but I doubt he’s that far gone.

I love how both of you took a throw away joke and tried to frame it within reality. (:

ahh its always fun to try you know.but that is a good question. how shy would you say you are donny?

and your in jokes 101 remember.

It’s our overanalytical side, sorry dear, didn’t mean to poke too much fun. Besides, I have engineer’s blood, of course I have to figure out how it would actually work.

Did I mention I was excited about TASP? I’m going to be so disappointed when i get the “we regret to inform you” notice.

I’m not really shy, I just don’t bear myself to a lot of people. I can have fun with people I don’t know. Foe example i have only one person that knows absolutely what i am, but that’s how i like it. I treat my personal info as part of me, so the more I give it out, the less I feel whole. Some people have mistaken this before as elitism, which sucks. When it comes to things like TASP, I’m totally cool. I mean I don’t know anything about you guys, but I check this site practically religiously just to talk.

Ugh, I know. It might even be worse than when I get college rejection letters because I don’t have a plan B for this summer…

i dont either. but i do wonder what the rejection letter looks like. but im now positive that im gonna get into TASP. i am working off of no other motivation besides the fact that i loved my essays, and im just that damn confident. lol. let’s see if pure will power and a decent interview are enough.
it would be weird to be rejected though after this long thread on CC and such.

and that is a very poetic way to look at it, giving away pieces of yourself. and it is usually easier talking to strangers expecially over the internet, people you dont know beyond what they tell you in exact words. it is a false liberation.

Oh, I know. Like, if most of us got in and one didn’t? I’d be like, Hold up Ellen Baer, you seem to have made a mistake, I/MLS/Donny/Elmo/Fridge/whoever actually needs to get into this TASP thing right now.

Or if we all got in, but to different ones and never got to actually see each other.

I love talking to strangers online. No preconceptions about anything, no bias based on appearance, the only info they have about yo is what they tell you and their username. It is very liberating.

Would I be an idiot to ask who Ellen Baer is?

I would be pretty disappointed if I got rejected too… I think my essays are OKAY. I can’t be confident because it’s… TASP… and with an acceptance rate like that, well…

She’s the head of the TASPs, I think. If you mailed your application, it was addressed to her.

I know, it’s death. It’s worse than Harvards… It makes me want to puke.

It’s the way that trials should be carried out. No faces, just pure info. Only way to keep objectivity.

yes you would don (kidding), ellen baer is the nice lady who interviewed me and the administrator of TASS and TASP i think. she has some big position like that. and you would be lucky to have her.
also with my number one being like everyone else’s number three or four. that helps.

the extrance rate is like what high ball park 80 of 900? or is it supposed to be more like 60?

The number 68 comes to mind.

You’re a TASSer, panicpower?

ahh yeah. but its good practice for college.
but like with all my confidence ill most likely not get in. : (
the pain of keeping a small community.

and yes donny i am. i fell in love with umich that summer. ode to ann arbor.

Was it fun? Man that feels like a dumb question.
