Sorry I was gone for so long. My family only has one computer so we have to do this crazy thing called “sharing.”
You analyzed a scene from Blow for your interview? That sounds awesome. Also, it’s what is so unique about TASP.

Hey, D-yu. Wow, we both got on at the same exact time…so, what’s up? I wonder if we could start a debate with just us here…

Joking, but more specifically, what rights? Rights to be killed humanely, not be tested on, or right to have their own land that we can’t take from them?

off what donny said if you are gonna kill em gas them please, dont throw them in dumpsters. i dont really like animal testing especially for trivial things like makeup. and endangered speicies should have refuges.

But to counter your gassing position, how much more money does it cost to do that then to break their neck? I think people have a problem of personalizing animals, thinking that the can think on the same level as you; they can’t, if the could, why haven’t we seen a nationally accredited paper on dichotomy of the id and the superego penned by a deer?
I will agree with you that their death shouldn’t be treated as a game. CNN or some other reporter tv station did an expose of how workers would throw the chickens around for “fun.”

This gets to iffy ground, elmo. Part of me says that for advancement’s sake, it’s okay to experiment on animals, but then I always go back to this idea I have: If aliens came to Earth, how could we justify them not experimenting on us, an undoubtedly inferior race compared to them, when we experimented on inferior species ourselves?

experiment on animals that are going to die anyways in a matter of days. i would daresay that animals killed for hunting and roadkill outnumber those killed in the lab. besides, we exploit animals anyway for food. according to your alien analogy, that would be unethical too.

But the concept of a food chain has to be universal, so they couldn’t blame us for needing energy.
Speaking on your terminally ill animal idea, wouldn’t them dying within a few days skew the results? Also, most experiments take time, as in more than just than the few days alloted them by the terminally ill animals’ time schedule.

that would be true most likely only in the field of drug testing. also, you don’t need animals for obtaining energy - no i’m not vegan (ew) i’m just pointing out a fact. don’t get me wrong, meat rules.

vegans have to take vitamin supplements for their lack of vitamins and nutrients from meat. If we’re extending the alien theory, I think they would understand us being a part of nature’s cycle, something that an advanced civilization undoubtedly knows more about and most likely has a greater respect for, on the large scale and small, as opposed to us making our food in labs so as not to encroach on animal’s rights.

no, i had to do something earlier. i wonder where all the ladies are… let see… cira is probably ostracizing her parents due to their lack of grammar (so typical of the grammar nazi). wink has probably taken over asia and is invading eastern Europe by now… mls might just be socializing somewheres
