Panic, some of that is an issue of drinking or doing drugs, not so much about the sex. We stigmatize sex in our culture, and that’s why it’s harmful to our self-esteem. I’d say, though, other than the health risks, I’m not against teenage sex. It can be done safely, lovingly, without emotional breakdown. I mean, half of all seniors have had sex by the time they graduate, and most aren’t that screwed up about it. Obviously you have to be careful and responsible, but if you are, having sex isn’t something to totally freak out about.

true, but i dont care about age, unless your like under 13 or something. i just feel a clear head is necessary. and if people want to do drugs and get drunk it is that person’s problem. i dont.

Unfortunately, teenagers are one of the stupidest demographic groups of the American population. I have nothing against sex at all, and it would be ridiculous for the government to place any restrictions on sex, but there is a reason why some schools hand out condoms at prom and homecoming: some people are practically copulating on the dance floor, and then follow it up at a hotel or the janitor’s closet.

how perfectly self hating teenager of you fridge.

lol whatever happened to “dancing”

People like sex, wink. They can’t help it. A hundred years ago, two hundred years ago, they’d be married by then and no one would care if they copulated all night and day long. They’re biologically designed to want to reproduce before they died at twenty five a few thousand years ago. You can’t just say “Go against all your biological instincts and don’t have sex”- who is going to listen?

I think we need to culturally take a more responsible attitude towards sex, not treat it like it’s dirty, like it’s only for married people or only for reproduction. In this day and age, it’s mostly recreational, and I don’t think it’s possible to convince people otherwise

Oh, people at my school are awful… Some of it is really, actually disgusting. I’ve come to accept most of it though.

Yes, apparently my school has had to ban “moshing,” “freaking,” and “slam dancing” due to the disturbances they cause at school functions. No mentions of “grinding” on the banned list yet.

Wow, I must have pretty good control of my biological instincts in that case, because I am most definitely not having sex.

Obviously we shouldn’t go back to the Victorian era with suppressed sexual emotions resulting in all kinds of “hysteria” to use a Freudian term. But people need to learn that sex is something that should be approached responsibly and with a level-head. Teenagers more than anyone need to THINK before they do it, and if they can’t manage that, they shoudldn’t do it. Do one is going to stop them if they do, but they may learn to regret that decision some day.

isnt freaking supposed to be grinding.

and cira like any recreational thing people need to do with with some sense.

wow… its kinda funny watching you ladies just slice and dice that subject to pulp. hate to be one of your boyfriends. i’d be engaged in philosophical debate all night! (what do you think of sex in a historical and modern context?)
actually, that doesn’t sound too bad…

yay! we’re getting to the point that by the time i hit “reply” there’s 10 more posts - just like old times. too bad don had to miss out

I have no idea what freaking is. None of my friends have been able to provide me with a definition. Thanks for the clarification, panic; you have made me a wiser woman. :)

New topic?

Obviously. I’m not advocating a giant orgy after homeroom to get all our urges out so we can concentrate first period or anything! I’m not saying that teenagers should have sex, either. Just that you probably can’t stop them from doing so, so you shouldn’t make them feel more guilty about it than they probably already do.

of course your not wink. being a dictator takes time.

and wiser i dunno, potentially freaker definitely. ;)

and i can go for a new topic.

Sure. Make it quick though, I’ll need to sleep soon.

aagh, stupid time zones! umm… gun control?

i need to shower now, be back in 20 minutes.

we did that one elmo.
and our boyfriends would be lucky to have us and our incessant debating.lmao.

People should be allowed to carried guns on the lower end of the spectrum- pistols, handguns, nothing that’ll pierce through an inch of steel or anything like that. I don’t believe that higher firepower is necessary for any legal purposes.

Unfortunately, boys don’t think that way at my school, panic.

I could go for gun control. The issue really depends on one’s interpretation of the 2nd amendment. Should people have to undergo a psychological evaluation before purchasing certain types of guns? Is there any way to more effectively regulate the black market?

i dont believe anyone really has use for high powered weaponry or even a lot of low power. you have two hands why 7 guns?
