Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

Wink wants a society in which no one questions her dictatorship.

Damn 60 second rule.

i know right.

Wink must go to bed now and stop talking in the third person.
Good night panicpower, and may the Force be with you.

and with you

TASP my dearest dream

(no i’m not faking it. i seriously get back at the EXACT moment everyone else leaves)

New challenge: everyone can only express their ideas in the form of haiku.

Gun: pointed missile,
Portable killing power
Stop me if you can.

Short and brutish “life”
Bring back my pig you thief! Crack
No rights; anarchy.

This is hard. Not to mention a disgrace to the ancient art form of haiku.

I’m sorry D-Yu. I think I’ll be around for most of the day tomorrow (or today, actually) if you want to chat.

haha. hope springs eternal. whaddya wanna talk about? oops, not in haiku mode

anyone here? guess not. lunch break’s over anyhow. see ya’ll tonite

Hello, all!

Hello!

I couldn’t stop thinking about our discussion all day today…

I have (not a discussion), but a question of you all. Do any of you know your Myers-Briggs personalities? That might be interesting!

If you don’t know yours, here’s a site that gives them after a short quiz:

[Personality test based on Jung - Myers-Briggs typology](Personality test based on Jung and Briggs Myers typology)

I’m an INTJ (Wow, it’s a long summary, but whatever):

I’ve taken it before, but i want to see if it will be different this time. I might take me awhile, I’m terribly slow at these things. (:

hahaa i’ve taken those before! i am an INFJ. There is a thread on this, most people on this forum are INTJs, though they are considered one of the rarer types (2% of population or something).

I know about the other thread, and I love that INTJs seem to congregate on this forum. INTJs must just be a college-conscious/worrying group in general.

The results mean more to me now, though, because they’ll help me form a better picture of who you guys are.

That and I love personality tests!

I love this quote:
“INFJs value their integrity a great deal, but they have intricately woven, mysterious personalities which sometimes puzzle even them.”

I’m an ISTP personality type. I’m almost positive this was what I got last time as well. Here’s the defintion…

ISTP children want life to be logical, flexible and action oriented. While they like hands-on activities, they also may want to stand aside and observe what is taking place. They are especially observant of what makes things tick and may take apart a toy to see its inner workings. They are curious and are great gatherers of data and detail. They rarely forget what they have noticed about places and things. They are aware of flaws and try to correct them. ISTP children become very absorbed in their hobbies.

ISTP teenager may have several close friends but generally are not social butterflies. They relate to others by sharing detailed information about one of their interests or sharing in physical activities that involve a measure of risk. They like sports in which they can challenge themselves and master specific techniques and strategies.

As young adults, ISTPs tend to follow a path of least resistance when thinking about their careers. They usually don’t like planning ahead because they think that things don’t turn out like the plan. They relax their brain while everyone else is busy using theirs to plan.

ISTPs are pragmatists and gamblers who play each hand as it is dealt. As a result, they are able to take advantage of opportunities as they arise. In adult life, ISTPs are fairly laid back and mellow. They do not impose much structure on themselves or others. Because they retain and use detail for logical ends, they are often recognized by their employers as people who do well with the careful and precise understanding of factual data.

Most ISTPs, when questioned about their careers, reveal that they would love to have more time and income to pursue their interests full-time. Because retirement may allow ISTPs to further pursue their work as well as leisure interests unhampered by time demands, it is a very desirable state for them. If their work is interesting, they may resist retirement because their work is a key element in their lives. When their work does not provide them with enough enjoyment and challenge, they may try to arrange things so that they can retire early and thus obtain more time to enjoy their leisure pursuits.

I realize that I’m a biased source, but I feel like this really describes me.

I’m a mastermind too! I’m really awful at chess, though. No visual-spatial skills.

So apparently, I should be a librarian, a lawyer, a computer programmer or do something in the natural sciences.

[INTJ Profile](INTJ Profile) is another good description.

Paper Crane, you are the INTJ’s companion! Interesting…

“Matermind” sounds so nefarious…like your plotting my downfall as I type.

Just found out a that Hannibal Lecter is an INTJ. Nice to know you two are going to eat my brain.

Wasn’t there a TV show called “Masterminds” in which investigators went over how these “masterminds” managed to break into houses, rob banks, embezzle money, etc. without getting caught? Of course, they eventually fell from glory anyway…

Bwahaha… We’ll never tell, Donny. Perhaps someday you’ll know the truth.

I just realized that I probably do come off as super arrogant to about everyone else. Probably you guys too, and I just don’t notice. Er, sorry, blame my cold, robot interior.

Fridge! Have you taken the test?
