they have to make a certain number of days a year. government funding or some such.

Make it quick. I have to go to bed within a half-hour. It’s 12:19, and I have an early day tomorrow…

Panic -
Yeah, I know, but it’s really dumb to add them on to the end of the year AFTER finals, because teachers aren’t going to feel like teaching anything, and students aren’t going to feel like learning anything.

Is anyone excited about breaking 200 pages soon?

ahh yeah im waiting for it. shame we might not beat the thread from last year.

Yay 200 Pages!

And we could be very close to last year’s thread…

Hmm…last year’s thread reached 200 pages on February 28…so we’re actually ahead!

Yup. Last year’s thread was on page 170 on February 11 at midnight.

I definitely just checked.

nice… my school is actually thinking about cutting into spring break to make up for snow days.

How many snow days have you had? My school has had only 2, but there was some great controversy in that we should have had a 3rd (every other school in the area was closed, and there was high risk for frostbite…)

Eww…

What a cruel way of dealing with that. Tacking onto the summer almost seems nicer (though I suppose seniors may feel differently).

In Minnesota, snow days are legends designed to give students false hope that school might be canceled due to snow/cold.

Seniors here get out a week earlier than the rest of us :P

Same here. But I assume they would need to stay longer if they started racking up snow days…

4 snow days. seniors will graduate on May 31 no matter what (not even snow days)… so they don’t care. hey, speaking of that, do your schools require senior projects?

yeah my schools gets quieter when they leave. o next year it will be me. hopefully off to a nice college that wont ask for money i dont have.

No. I kind of wish they did, though. <– regarding senior projects

Moving in an opposite direction from senior projects…
Is anyone planning senior pranks already? Or what kinds of pranks have you had in the past?

Yeah my seniors have “Seniors Serve” on the last day of school. They have to volunteer for a day at one of the places the school designates.

(Haha, I guess it’s not really volunteering, huh?)

Haha, the biggest “projects” our seniors have are planning senior prom, selecting a senior skip day, and organizing a senior prank.

Post 3000?!?
