i used to have a sweet tooth but then sold it to the tooth fairy…wait a minute she didn’t even pay me! CHEAPSKATE! so edit - i LOST my sweet tooth…

hey… i did NOT say that women belonged in the house…(that is actually opposite my beliefs) i just said girls are paranoid…

made my caramel breakfast ring today… it was DELISH

Baking a pie is such a fulfilling thing to do. More than cake or cookies… People think it’s harder, but honestly? I’d rather deal with pastry dough than gently folding in egg whites any day. Batter doesn’t make sense. Pastry does.

forget all the gently folding crap i put it in and whip. i dont even have like an electric beater or whatever. it is all arm power for me. and i do both, i love making brownies, lord help me. but i am bad with dough i think, im inclined to only make the top crust.
and i cant do too much crusty bread, my gums attack me later.

you love the caramel ring but have no sweet tooth?

and id love to have a manny, just so i could say “im sleeping with my manny.”

Heh, I’m a wimp. I can go whipped cream on my own, usually, but egg whites? Not even gonna think about it. Brownies are wonderful. I make mine so they kind of approximate fudge in taste and texture, just less sweet so you can really enjoy them without gagging. I use this recipe from the Hershey website- always a good plan.

Crepes somehow just don’t do it for me. I’m not a pancake person.

i enjoy a sweet delight (NO THERE IS NO SEXUAL CONNOTATION YOU FREAKS) every now and then… and am fond of ice cream and jollyrancher, but that’s about it… i’m not like hardcore sugar-aholic

Eh, the sweetest stuff I have most days is my coffee. I don’t bake as often as I’d like because I know I’d put my cookies/cake/pie somewhere it really oughtn’t be, like my tummy.

whipping egg whites is tiresome, i remember i made some disastrous caramel, and an equally disastrous flan. never again. and i made brownies there were super moist (but not like to the point of wateryness) and they were sweet but more chocolate-y melt in your mouth thickness.

and it counts cuz your asian.never had a crepe though.but ihop is a drug.

i indulge. but it is like once a month baking and that died down around december sadly.and jollyranchers o dear. i find that if i buy a thing of ice cream i get tired of it half way through. and it gets frost bitten.

the caramel i used in the caramel was delish but super easy (3 ingredients! even i can handle that). and a male nanny? no offense, but oxymoron? porna would dig that term

Ooh, I made caramel corn for the church thing where I tragically met the dumb boy. It was really, really good caramel corn… I’ll make it for you guys at TASP if we all get in and to the same seminar…

i dunno what happened it was like sugar and water boiled but i burned and got thready. it was a horror to clean out. it was like jollyrancher stuck to my pan. my mom was p****ed.

and what were your first choice seminars again? (directed at both of you)

oh… so he’s the DUMB boy now huh? jk cira, i’m glad ur getting over it…sighs wi**lly yet TASP seems so out of reach…like its the moon and i’m a guy with a pogo stick…

we were required to use a microwave to make caramel - brown sugar, butter, and water… and ur good to go…

edit: what the? they edited out w-i-s-t-f-u-l-l-y. THATS RIDICULOUS

Okay, he’s not dumb. Just young. Which implies the dumbness of youth for not realizing that he could be the most awesome eighth grader in his tiny town for dating a lovely 11th grader from a comparatively big city. I’m not usually the type to fall for someone so fast, it just kind of happened. But I’m falling out of it fast too, so that’s good.

I feel like the leafy bit of celery that’s going to get cut off before the rest of the stalk goes into the soup…

I was wondering what you got blocked there… Seriously, they block S-T-F-U?
