Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

Supposedly it doesn’t exist. Scientists say the phenomenon is caused by a momentary lapse of neurons connecting in the brain. I’m nowhere near informed enough to intelligently discuss the scientific/medical aspects of Deja Vu.

Audrey Hepburn? Wow, I did a google search, and that is completely different from what my mind’s image of you was. I thought you had red hair for some reason. (:

i’ve always thought it was when the mind recognizes a match btw what it was seeing and what is stored deep within ur subconscious…

the mind is an utterly mind-boggling thing

Red hair would be awesome, with green eyes naturally. Nope. Pale, brown hair, brown eyes that are turning hazel. It kind of freaks me out. Someday I’m going to look in the mirror and realize that for the first sixteen years of my life, my eyes have been lying to me. Plus, I really like brown eyes, and I’m not too sure how I feel about hazel… ):

Donny, I can’t get a good visual on you. Or Elmo, really. I have panic down, but not wink… Hmm. You all defy definition?

Yes, the mind does boggle the mind. (:
Much like how the buffalo buffalos the buffalo.

Heh, I love “Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo.”

Hmm, I don’t have a facebook, probably because they’re pointless and are contributing to our lack of authentic relationships, so I can’t show you any pic of me. It’s weird, I’m used to the internet telling me any and every thing I want to know, but when i want to find something of myself, the internet is of no help. ):

haha… i’ve gotta go cuz i gotta get up early tomorrow. c-ya!

Well I guess I’ll be going as well. Night, b i t c h e s. (:

I mostly use mine to make plans with my useless friends or to whine constantly about how single I am. I don’t have any good pictures of myself there, either, I think… I could go look, if you want.

one last closing thought…if you REALLY want to see what each of us looks like, just e-mail pictures among us

Oooh. I want to see what everyone looks like! I think I mentioned earlier my tendency to create fantasy appearances/voices/clothing styles, etc. for people I’ve never actually met in real life based on their personalities.

I was supposed to send my picture to panic a while ago…but I never really got around to taking one of myself. Sorry panic, if you read this! The batteries in my camara are dead, but I’ll get to it. But if anyone else is interested in trading photos…I’m game.

But I’m not a model or anything. I’m not even pretty…I’m too lazy to wear contacts or make-up or comb my hair well. If anyone doesn’t want their little fantasy creations (like the ones I creepily created for you all) destroyed, better not get involved…

I wonder how awkward it must have been for CC TASPers last year to meet each other. Oh well, at least we would be able to recognize each other when we get in, if any number of us into the same TASP. Yes, I said /when/ we get in.

Online is one of the few places where you can actually be exposed to someone’s personality/attitude before their appearance/first impressions. Some may say it’s superficial, but meeting others online has its merits.

What I would be interested in is if, after seeing a photo of what the others look like, anyone changes their behavior towards anyone else, or speaks a little differently or conducts discussion differently. For example, whenever I see that someone wears glasses, I automatically find myself thinking that person is more intelligent, as irrational as it is…

EDIT: Everyone, I expect we’ll get to page 300 tomorrow!

im game for the pic switch. it would be interesting, to say the least.

and honestly i dont have mental pics of you. but i did think that cira had brown hair.

anyone? someone?

i’m in for a pic switch as welllll

hmm… idk but i’m leaning more towards pic switching AFTER we know we get interviews… no point in learning more about a great person only never to meet them…

whoa. no posts for 1 1/2 hours?

but first… list mental images of each other BEFORE we see pics. that way, we cam compare and laugh…

My visions of all of you, for your amusement:

Panic - well, I’ve already seen your picture, which biases my evaluation, but, initially, big brown eyes, long lashes, dark brown hair, chin length, square face.
Earil - straight, light brown hair, shoulder length, brown eyes, oval face, glasses, freckles, button nose, petit.
D-Yu - kind of like an Asian Dr. Who, horn-rimmed glasses, lanky/scrawny, short black hair, oblong face…red, furry.
Hudson - dark brown hair, big nose, big ears, tan, average height…but something to sweep the ladies off their feet…big hazel eyes?

So…yeah…

aww you thought i was tall im 5’2, okay really 5’1 and a half. but let’s round up, hehe.

earil - brown hair, pale, blue eyes, and glasses, im leaning towards under 5’5.
d-yu - (i know your asian with no glasses) umm that typical short black haircut, tall, remnants of a runners body (lol), dark for an asian person.
hudson - tan, skinny, brown/black hair id say pretty short, wide nose, big eyes, floppy ears, average height, noxious smell of glazed peanuts.
wink - brown, black hair wavy, nearly to the shoulder, round face, tall and skinny.

haha…nice one - cept i don’t wear glasses, and not exactly tall (5’6")<—rounding up… but i do have short hair and used to run tho…

and for don, its not the big hazel eyes that sweeps ladies of their feet, but long arms and big hands :)

ewww elmo eww.
and 5’6 is tall in my point of view.
whats your mental pic elmo?
