Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

Ha. This reminds me of on Whose Line Is It Anyway when Drew Carey said that Africa was a country.

(before the African Chant game)
Drew: Africa, it’s a big country in the middle of the world.
Greg: It’s also a big continent if you’re a geographer.

(during Scenes from a Hat)
“The name of Drew Carey’s second book”
Wayne: ‘My Life of Leisure: Behind the Desk.’
Collin: Hm. ‘The Difference Between Continents and Countries.’

(during World’s Worst Dating Videos)
Ryan: (wearing Drew Cary glasses) Heeey. Did you know Africa’s a continent?

I love Whose Line.

clopclophorse hooves
elmo: so… cira, i see you are trying to take my crown…
cira : why, so i am…
sssssshiiiiiinnnnnnnnnggggggg cira pulls out long sword i think we should bypass the jousting part…

elmo : agreed pulls out glock bang! cira falls

yeah that is what tripped me up. i tried the qualifier and it was like oh dear i know nothing. but at the same time it is very different from what they ask on the show.

Please, I am far too wimpy for the broad sword you’re hinting at. I’d definitely either have a katana (Eh, maybe) or some sweet antique pistol with a mother-of-pearl handle loaded with exploding/poisonous bullets. Probably that last one.

How do you guys know so much about weapons?
Do you guys live in Mordor or something?

Wait, if you take the qualifier online, couldn’t you just look up the questions you don’t know? Or is it timed?

i’ll be sure to wear extra kevlar… or joust riding in a m1 battle tank…

besides, that antique pistol is more likely to blow up in ur hand than it is to fire a round

Does anyone remember the Reptar Bar from Rugrats? They always looked like the best candy in the world. Man, If those things were real, I’d so be eating one right now.

This was random. (:

Wolf -
It’s timed.

never watched rugrats

Huh. I never watched Rugrats either; it was on at the same time as Arthur.

off to dinner for now; i’ll be back tho’

p.s. arthur rocks…

You had no childhood, elmo.

Donny, you’re awesome. Minas Tirith, actually.

I remember how they always wanted to go see the Dummy Bears… Also the “Cynthia, she’s a really cool dancer. Cynthia, boogie to the groove now…” song.

Ooh, cool, people are joining the facebook group for TASP!
I would never survive teen jeopardy, but there are some amazing people at my school who would be able to pull it off, I think. I can’t keep up with this thread… but… yeah, just stopping by to say hello.
And I liked Arthur.

I had to google search Mians Tirith, you tolkien stalker. (:
There’s a facebook group for TASP!? AH! I so want to join. ):

Get a Facebook already Donny! They’re a little useful for real life friendships.

Wink nudges Facebook with 10-foot pole
Facebook comes roaring to life
Wink runs away in fear and hides under rock

Is Facebook more soul-consuming than CC?

I want one not to keep in touch with other people, but just to see what everybody looks like. I’m weird like that.
I get my TASP connection fix from this thread.

It shouldn’t be. It can be a little annoying if you have dumb friends that invite you to a bunch of applications all the time… But they’re easy to ignore. CC eats a lot more of my life, believe me.

Heh, crap. There are a bunch of really awful pictures of me on mine from when I had to play a boy in a one act play… You guys are so not allowed to see them. ):
