Hey, elmo.
I’m actually at home right now. (:

Howdy! Today was a weird day. This kid a lot of my friends knew, but I had never met, died in a car accident this morning… It’s strange to watch people you love be in so much pain and have so much grief while not sharing it.

I actually know the feeling. My best friend in middle school had another friend other than myself that he was very close with. Anyway, This person’s father committed suicide, which tore my friend up, but I didn’t know the father or his other friend, so I had no way to relate to him.
It sucks.

I guess it’s good to be someone who isn’t crying, who can give out hugs without needing hugs in return… But it still feels weird to feel normal in a room of people feeling awful.

Less depressing topic? How are you, Donny?

Sorry! Didn’t mean to ditch you, cira. I was ordered by my slave overlords to go mow the lawn. (:

It’s fine, I had the internet to keep me company. (:

This is why you should live up North! No mowing for several months yet, and snowblowing takes a lot less time.

At the very least, it gives me an hour to zone out to my ipod.
By the way, good job rubbing in my status as a Southerner. (:

Picking on people about dumb things is just another of my many talents. (:

The delicious aroma of freshly cooked empanadas call my name! I’m afraid to say that I must leave you once again, Cira. I’ll sign back on later tonight.

Lucky. I’m having old spaghetti for dinner tonight… ): No fun at all. I’ll talk to you then!

I think homework now, and I’ll be back in a bit too.

hello anyone?

I’m back. Craving junk food. I had some currants and a caramel flavored rice cake for dessert. Not a good substitute for hot, fresh cookies at all… I think I’m just striking out on the food front today. I might have to bake to rectify this later.

What’s up, Panic?

Officially a slave to all impulses/urges/passions that hold me in their chocolatey, warm grasp. Hopefully I won’t be too long baking. Cheerio!

lucky ducky.

Oh man. I love cookies. I used a new recipe and they are quite possibly the most beautiful, perfect looking cookies I have ever made. They’ve got just a little almond extract in them and they’re fabulously good.

Hey, everybody. I found this on last year’s thread. I read that thing religiously.(:
I e-mailed to ask about when interview notifications are being sent and this is the reply I got in return:

"We will send out letters to all applicants around March 5. You can also
call us then to find out whether or not you are getting interviewed.

Ellen Baer"
So, who will be the brave one among the group and email Mrs. Baer to find out the exact date this year?

touches nose I’m scared as hell.

Dear ghost, I just found this tidbit.
Here’s where I think the March 2nd came from -

According to a facebook wall posting, an 06 TASPer received his letter March 5th, but the letter itself is dated March 3rd. March 3rd was the first Friday of March last year. Assuming they will also send out notifications the first Friday of March this year, that would be tomorrow, March 2nd. Otherwise, we should probably just wait until the next business day, Monday, March 5th.
If we follow this logic, then we can call THIS FRIDAY, because it will be the first Friday of March!

Why “touches nose?”

That would wonderful of you, Meth.

As well, this is the number that people called last year to see if they were accepted.

(607) 273-5011

ok calm down people and wait a week.,
