Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

funny one cira is.

Ack…I’m sorry to dampen the conversation, but I have just had one of the worst, most heart-breaking days of my life (okay, so I’m a spoiled, upper middle-class suburbanites, but we have our problems too…). I’ve spent the last two hours ranting about the injustice of life, and am caught in a mixture of deep sadness and seething anger.

Sigh I will probably be miserable for the next several days, from whence I will pick up my life and move on. I’m sure that none of you know what I am referring to, but the issue is probably to complex to explain in one post…It involves a certain competition called “Science Olympiad,” which I’m sure some of you have heard of/are a part of.

Anyway, I will trouble you with my problems no further. :(

hugs I’m sorry, Fridge. I’m good at listening to rants if you secretly do want to vent.

Yes, but that’s a Declaration. Not a law.

People for curfew argue that teenagers don’t have the maturity to think responsibly, and so the curfew is a good because it prevents crimes from being committed by adolescents.

But on the other hand, it discriminates against teenagers. After all if the same rules were applied to ethnic minorities, it would be labeled “racist” and “unfair”. If preventative measures were taken so that african-american men weren’t allowed outside after eleven o’clock on weekdays, there would be a huge outrage in the community. Does a teenager really deserve the same restrictions? Teenagers technically have no say in the system of government, but the government still rules over them and restricts them, exclusively.

Oops.
Awww…

I’m sorry wink.

I have no idea what a science olympiad is. But sorry, nonetheless.

What happened?

And in response to Jmed, my school is… interesting. It’s full of opposites. Rich, white suburbanites, and poor illegal immigrants. Really smart kids. And people who regularly fail and end up dropping out their freshman year.

awww wink. weren’t you going to be part of that?

I have to disappear for an hour. It’s sexy British sci-fi time!

feel free to trouble me further with your problems ( in your words) wink. i’m all ears.

hi i’m back. and i do NOT eat dinner late (5:30) my time

im pretty sure she was joking.

lol so was i. i don’t have asian rage THAT often… only when pornas around… then i take out the grenade launcher

ahh and flaunt your manliness.

and im suffering from buyer’s remorse elmo. like two of the schools ive sent my scores to i am no longer interested in. i’ve found now that i dont care for either of them.

hmmm… i have yet to find a customer (as in a college)

i sent scores to U of WA, WA state U (safety) Berkeley, and national merit

what do you mean national merit? doesnt your school do that automatically?

i thought i had but then i realized they didnt spark it for me. the others on the list did. and now it feels like a waste of part of a waiver.

at least its only $9.50 to send… and i thought u had to personally send scores to NM…

You guys are sending scores to colleges already?!

My counselor told me that I was stupid for thinking about sending them to colleges in my junior year.

Eh, sometimes I regret listening to her.

i dunno. im highly under informed.lol. and true i guess. ahh so much more to do.
anyway i gotta commit some physics to memory so im gonna have to go ghost on you elmo.

tata for now.

and yes secsh i did. most of the schools i picked i’d been salivating about since forever. and it is not like they throw them out if you send in junior year. plus i scored in the range that i wanted so i had no regrets. i guess it is inadvisable in most cases.

Hey, I’m back. Am I the only one who hasn’t taken the SATs yet?

Earil: I haven’t taken them yet.

Gahhhhh! (hair-pull-au-Colin-from-WLIIA) Boys are stupid. Let’s throw rocks at them. Ok, this is what happened at the skating rink tonight. There were 6 of us there; 3 guys, 3 girls. 4 of them were paired up, boyfriend-girlfriend. The 5th one is a guy from Drama Club (not gay), best friend of one of the guys (Braden), also an accquaintance in relation to me. He’s cute, but he’s short (he’s about my height. I’m 5’ 8"). We’d been flirting a little during drama, nothing much (partly because I couldn’t remember if his name was Bret or Brent. It’s Bret.). He’s into me; his best friend has informed me as such. Tonight, the others are paired up and it’s me and him, and Maureen (one of the other girls, my friend) was trying to push us together the whole night, and what does he do?

He says NOTHING. The whole night. Argh! We’re literally a foot away from each other half the time, holding hands for the skating games and he doesn’t f***ing say ANYTHING.

Of course, to be fair, neither did I. But I see him every day and my 5-year love of my lovely Jewish boy has stunted my social development in this field, and I’m not really into him, and I’m Porna so I don’t have to justify anything I do. But still! Argh! Shyness *es me off unless it’s the cute, stuttery kind. When it’s MY kind of shyness it just *es me off.

This is why dating is dying out. Girls expect to be asked out and guys expect to magically wind up with girlfriends by doing absolutely nothing. And my e-mail is STILL empty, you TASP f***ers. Rarrrrgh.
