yes let’s dehydrate the enemy from too much vomit. and i dont believe you on the “brain message” one.

Didn’t I show you the link about it?

it was probably a long time ago. and if they can do that it just proves they are focusing on the wrong thing. we could have eradicated a new disease with that mind power.
and i change my " i got rejected song" it is now " still here " by Cornel West and BMWMB

Listening to it now? Right now I’m in a Shins mood. So delicious.

But think of the value for the marketing companies! No one would be safe from ads, not even within the sanctuary of their own minds.

we’d be fat, over-shopping Americans. ewwww.

Uh, Panic? What do you think we are now? (As we speak, I am window shopping for watches. I am a sad, sorry specimen of our modern existence.)

I’ll be right back, I’m going to go wash my hair really quickly.

watches really? hmm there’s an idea. what site?
i never think to buy watches, i just have mine…
and true. i guess the only effect it will have is making it impossible to separate the insane from the sane.

…Not that there’s any separation as it is.

i like to think there is. lol.
and classik nice to see you CCing.

Overstock.com [Stuhrling Original ‘Lady Wall Street’ Watch : Women’s Watches from Overstock.com](<a href=“Bed Bath & Beyond | The Best Deals Online: Furniture, Bedding, Rugs, Kitchen Essentials & Moree”>Bed Bath & Beyond | The Best Deals Online: Furniture, Bedding, Rugs, Kitchen Essentials & Moree) is currently my favorite. Skeleton watches are ridiculously cool looking. Because I am such a dork, I was also looking at the pocket watches… So mad cool. I used to have a watch necklace which I liked a lot… I can’t stand wearing rings or bracelets. They bug me lots and bracelets make my arms look shorter. So alternative watches are pretty sweet.

ooo id love to whip out a pocket watch, it would be so novel.

I’d feel like even more of a hipster snob. Power of Listening to Music More Obscure Than Anyone Else! Power of Kitschy Habits! Power of Rectangular Glasses! Power of Reading Snarky Webcomics! And etc. ad nauseam.

Wow, just measured my wrist and it is fully an inch too small to wear that watch. Ugh. Story of my life.

Haha, gotta rep for broward county. But seriously, where is the line between ‘sane’ and ‘insane’ drawn? Is there no middle ground? And then there’s the 1984 perspective, where sanity is completely relative to social norms, no matter how twisted those norms may be. I’d say everyone’s a little bit of one and a bit of the other; it’s societal expectations (or I guess laser beams?) that truly push them to one end or the other of the spectrum.

EDIT: oops, didnt realize I was a page late…

Somehow, watches and insanity go well together. We mete and measure out our lives according to bits of quartz and dead animal we wrap around our wrists. It doesn’t actually sound that sane to me.

id go with the 1984 view. ahh yes the laser beams. just looking at history you can see that some of the stuff society was doing was wacky, but it was ok because Everyone was doing it.

and how can your wrist be too short?

Has anyone ever thought about what a weird concept a watch is?
It’s time strapped to your wrist…

There is no such thing as insanity–the term is so broad it is meaningless. ![]()
For example–neuroses about TASP: insanity, or perfectly normal?

My wrist doesn’t have a big enough circumference. The watch would slide all around and bother me even more. And wearing a watch or bracelet or anything on my wrist makes my arms look shorter because it breaks the solid line of arm from shoulder to fingers.

Totally normal. It’s something we all want and not all who applied can have.

But is it maladaptive? Probably…;)

But all who applied from CC will be fine. It just follows.

What do you mean, Fridge?
