Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

Awesome. I’m actually going college-touring; pumped. I’ve never seen any colleges really except for like Mississippi State.

yayyy no fcats.

I apologize for my ignorance, but what is an fcat? EDIT: Nevermind. Thank Google…
I have to take the ACT (MME) next week.
Everyone but juniors get the day off…and two half days…

I have three days off at Easter, and then I have the second half of my actual break in April, and I’m going on a study trip to NYC to learn about terrorism and counter-terrorism.

Hmm, I think I only have 2 Regents Exams in June this year! Huzzah!

and the FCAT is florida’s state testing. it used to only be math, reading, and writing but then they decided to experiment with adding science. juniors have to take the science test with some incentive but it has no effect on graduation. usually once your in 10th grade if you have passed the fcat you are done. haters.

i wish i went private. gosh lucky people. i take naps during FCAT! i thought i was done with that time waster.

Sounds like…fun…

Your break sounds awesome Earil.
Hopefully you won’t use what you learn against in the quest for world domination.

nyah, nyah, I wear an uncomfortable logo’d polo every day.

Eh, my public HS isn’t too bad. We have a ridiculous amount of courses you can take for college credits, and a lot of seniors graduate with like 50 credit hours for any state university.

Ew, uniforms. I have a hard enough time getting any clothes I can buy to fit me right, let alone school mandated ones.

I hope it will be! I’m going with this youth group from my friend’s church, and I won’t know what group I’m in and what annoying people I’ll be stuck with all week until I’m on the bus there. No fun. ):

id take uniforms over fcat anyday. and ive seen your stuff it is not that bad. i had to wear uniforms in middle school it wasnt too terrible

My high school isn’t terrible either. But we have some of the most bizarre courses on record available. A shortage of AP classes though. And we have to take the ACT as mandated by the state. Which is an improvement over the MEAP.

i like my school it is the state that needs to take a hike.

That’s odd.

I think I’m taking ACTs, SAT I and SAT II’s this spring. Oh, joy.

Rebel Panic! Overthrow the govt! Your first conquest, possibly…

I have yet to take the SATs. Hopefully, if I do well enough on the ACTs, I won’t have to. And I have no reason to take SATIIs. Harvard & Co. are nowhere in my sight. But good luck.

You guys should all move to Michigan. We need smart people to stimulate our economy.

Make it attractive to smart people then. Are your schools good? Do you give out lots of grant money? How are taxes? You’ll catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

i plan to PSM remember?
and i’m taking subjects because i feel like they will divert attention from my lesser areas, and i gotta look as good as possible :)

Cira, I’m abashed. Randall Munroe himself proved that you attract more flies with balsamic vinegar than honey.

Balsamic vinegar basically reduces down to sugar when you boil it. Try it sometime. I’m talking like cleaning vinegar here.

xkcd!! remember his mother lied to him! he now grabs the fan just because he can now.

Sorry guys, I have to go work on homework for now. Maybe I’ll check in later…

Oh yes, and all schools in Michigan are terrible. It’s a well-known fact…

adios chica
