Well, sure, who doesn’t love the occasional cedar plank salmon with balsamic reduction? Still, the fact that it is vinegar is indisputable.

Yes, but when the adage was created, they didn’t have fine imported vinegar from Italy, they had awful stuff for pickling vegetables with.

their lack of vision is not my problem.

My use of a classic aphorism is not your problem either, then. (:

I wish I had a kumquat tree.

i have no idea what that is.

It’s a tree that grows kumquats, silly.

I’ve always wanted fruit trees. I have apple trees in my backyard but they don’t produce much… I’d love to have cherry and peach trees, and grow strawberries and raspberries… Mm, fruity goodness.

funny little man. and i think ive eaten those things.

Okay, I’m tired and we’re talking about kumquats. Sounds like an okay time to nip off to bed. good luck hugs to all See you tomorrow!

bye i should drop off too then. i have physics and calc staring me down.

ahhh i hate hw!
I couldn’t add my opinion on FDR like two pages back, lol

so yeah.
I used to really like FDR cause of his new policies and everything. In 8th grade I did my NHD project on the fireside chats and they really were an innovative way to get in touch with the public and actually helped people understand what was going on and informed them of his new programs.
but this year I’m doing NHD on Japanese Internment. The fact that he signed Exec Order 9066 kind of makes me iffy about how much I like him. I really don’t agree with that decision.

so yeah I’m not going to expand more since the discussion is already over, but I felt I should at least add that, haha

Haha! Hi everyone! It’s been awhile…

I was on a Choir tour in Chicago for the past weekend, and the week before that was Into the Woods auditions, so I’ve been kind of busy.

However, I just wanted to check in and say that I am in fact still alive and excited to receive TASP news (as in: INTERVIEW OR NOT?!?!), and the wait until Friday is kind of killing me inside.

But yeah, I am, contrary to popular belief, alive. If I have more time some day I’ll try to join in on more debates and such…

SNOOOOOOW DAY!!!
Is anybody around?

alamode, NDH = National History Day?

Wink, I am so jealous. I should have had a snow day today, all the other schools in the area were closed or delayed at least. ): So not fair.

We’re only 70 pages away from 500 now!!! At our current rate, that’s about three sayds of posting.

OMGOMGOMGOMG! I GOT AN INTERVIEW!!!

I was going through the mail and then I saw “Telluride Association” on the envelope. I was like “oh god… please, god. please.” i kept telling myself that it was probably a rejection… i ripped it open.

i screamed. the cable guys were like “…”

omg. i can’t believe it!!! my essays sucked…

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! interview time!

btw, i’m east coast (northern VA)

Congratulations!!!

You just made me go scramble for today’s mail. I’ve been watching the email neurotically, I just assumed if I get something, the email would come first. Only I can’t find today’s mail, and my mom is out and doesn’t have her cell phone with her…

Okay, either we got approximately no pieces of mail today, or she’s completely lost it.

^ I was waiting for March 7h, but w/e!!!

it still hasn’t sunk in! ahhhh… the joy (:

Ah! You’re so lucky! Could you like, take a picture of it or type it up for us to marvel at?

worries At the very latest, I’ll know in one and a half days. Friday is the superintendent day at my school, so I can call in at 9 and find out…
