Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

the UT was the hollywood’s africa one right? and the caribbean fascinates me, but then tons of cultures fascinate me.

Hey guys! I just figured I’d drop in to say “CONGRATULATIONS!” to all interviewees and applicants. I’d be glad to help out or answer any of your questions. If need be, feel free to PM me!

To those of you who didn’t get the exciting news today, please, please don’t feel down on yourselves - Telluride has a history of surprising decision making, and is in no way be an evaluation of your awesomeness as a person.
TASP is great, but it DEFINITELY isn’t the only awesome way you can spend your summer. Apply to other programs, go teach English abroad, intern at your local college, or just chill and enjoy your summer! Just going through this whole process already says a lot about you as a person. Keep it up, guys! You all rock!

MUST…FIND…OUT…BY…TOMORROW…

I’m going to try to call tomorrow…did we decide what their business hours were?

Here that guys? I rock! YEEAAHH!
 <– self-esteem boosters for all!

I’m fascinated by culture too, especially Asian culture…I wish they had a seminar on that. :frowning: It was after watching this old Japanese film that I selected my future career: space ninja!

But there is a lot to discuss about culture in Cornell II as well…
Hours: 9 - 4, I believe?

Disneyguy, I think they’re 9-4 Eastern time.

I want to be a ballerina ninja when I grow up. Failing that, a hot lady physicist.

10 to 4 i think

and if i got into Cornell I i know i would be surrounded by people who were passionate about this topic, it would be awesome. alot of people simply couldn’t care less about the Caribbean.

i wanna be a psychologist, and fluent in arabic or something. :)

Did you include that in your “future plans” essay Earil?

No… I did talk about making pastry, though!

Thank you!

Hmmm…this is going to be hard to work out logistically…I wish I lived on the East coast!

Although, in my case, their office opens after I leave for school and closes before I return. It would be impossible for me to call in without breaking school rules and carrying a cell phone (which has become a suspend-able crime now).

call at like 11am from your school’s bathroom or something.

Get your parent/guardian to get you out of school early. Bwahaha.

I think I’ll try to call during my lunch period…

Though that presents a new problem: The TASP people may be at lunch themselves.

Eh, it’s my only chance.

ok i am going to be going soon. it is getting late and i need to get sleep in when i can.

Heh, I still have to write that essay because I’m an idiot.

Yeah, I need to go too.
So long, farewell, auf weidersehen, good-byeeeee!

Adieu, adieu
To you and you and you

sings

Bye, all. Going to go flush my English grade down the toilet!

Is there a list of people who got interviews? :-)

I got one, I am totally stoked.

Heyy, good luck to all of you who’re calling in today! (:
