Nothing much. Just a backlog of homework and studying for the ACT this Tuesday…and you?

Still putting off that Macbeth paper… Four days straight! Also not studying for the APUSH test I really ought to be studying for. I’m being lazy in a bad, worrisome way today. I think I’ve been in the house too much lately, and I’m not looking forward to spending the whole summer inside…

Oh, that’s pretty much how I always am.
You must be one of those active people who always need to be out and about.
I’m much more of a sloth-like creature, content to just lie in the sun all day…

I gotta eat dinner now, but I’ll be back in a bit.

I am usually at home, inside all the time, and I do like it. I guess it’s just that I’ve been home for four days straight now and I am so sick of my family I could pull a Lizzy Borden. Not to mention my dumb busy friends never making plans with me.

I’m really not going to whine about it any more. Please slap me if I do, okay?

PS 25.5 inches of snow yesterday! Niagara County FTW!

!!!
25.5 inches?
We got like…5 inches. Pssh…

Lizzy Borden took an axe and chopped her family up, right? (:
I’ve been at work for the past eternity, and need to desperately catch up on my homework.
hey, rejects. (:

Yeah, her parents mostly. I think she was kind of a spinster.

The snow is pretty sweet. If you like snow. Which, at the moment, I don’t. It was twenty five on top of 6-12 inches from Friday, all of which I have to walk to school through tomorrow, with no sidewalks because my neighborhood is idiotic.

Just found an interesting looking physics program at UB… 30 hours a week for three weeks of nerdy, nerdy awesomeness!

Oh, yay!
I’m glad that everyone is finding possible alternatives for the summer, instead of moping over TASP. Sounds like fun, Earil.

Actually, for any minority students rejected (i.e. African-Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans) I found another free alternative program. It may not match TASP’s awesomeness, but it looks pretty cool nonetheless. It’s at Kettering University in Flint, MI…Here’s the link:
[Pre-College Programs - Kettering University](http://www.kettering.edu/futurestudents/precollege/)
It’s the first program on the list, called AIM. I don’t know if the application deadline has passed or not. There isn’t much info on the site; you’ll have to call or email the coordinator. But it’s worth a shot…

Is everyone gone?

I’m here Wink, just got back from the shower.

I was beginning to think everyone had abandoned me…again…
Sigh Just two more weeks of school 'til spring break. Are you going anywhere?

My spring break is all messed up. We had a week off in February, three days off at Easter, and then a week off in April… In April, I’m going to NYC with this church youth group to study terrorism and counter-terrorism, hopefully have a lot of fun with it. At the very least get a little shopping done (Shallow? Yes.) and see a musical. And you?

Nothing.
And I really mean nothing. At all.
Catching up on sleep, watching movies, going bowling with friends…the usual.
I’ll probably be filling out apps for various summer programs as well.

I forgot you already mentioned the terrorism study program earlier…
Which musical were you going to see again?

Sorry, it’s my mom’s birthday, so dinner was a whole big production. Anyone here to chat before I go tackle what I should be doing at the moment?

I don’t know yet. My dear friend Tina is rooting for Phantom of the Opera, but I’d rather see something a little fresher, less touristy. I’ve heard very good things about The Drowsy Chaperone.

Happy Birthday Mrs. Donny’s Mom! Us rejects are all here, and Classik might be around- he just emailed me the CASPplication.

Ah, that was just a short little distraction… currently slogging through an essay on feminism in Faulkner. It’s nowhere near as fun or cutesy as the alliteration would suggest.

Cool beans. Another musical I haven’t heard of. I Googled it–sounds interesting.
Uh-oh. I gotta go–scary pile of unfinished homework…
Good night everyone.

By the way, I heart Faulkner.

Did anyone get an official rejection letter from Tell, yet? Mine got here a couple of days ago, and anyone that has received theirs can attest to how nice the rejection is. (:

Night Wink! That sounds like a cutesy evil superhero or villain. Nightwink. I like it.

I did. I wish they’d have told us they were coming… Mom told me that I got a letter from them and my heart leaped.

hey, anyone else who still haven’t gotten a notification yet of some sort? I went on my online account hoping that they might have posted something, but then I saw this “Telluride Association Summer Programs Application for 2007” But all of my dates were sent and confirmed in 2008. When they have 2007, is that just the start of the application year and not the actual program year? Just making sure, 'cause I still haven’t heard a thing yet.
