Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

TickTock, email them or call them tomorrow 9-4 for your status. You should have gotten something by now, unless you live in Honolulu or Juneau or somewhere way out there.

okay thanks.
The edge of somewhere refers to Illinois :)

I’m afraid I too must go, cira. APUSH is gonna take me two hours alone, but you need to add precal hw and english AP stuff. ):

Night!

Goodnight, Donny! You guys are forcing me to be responsible or bored. sigh Back to the drudgery of school…

Illinois is truly the final frontier.

^ sarcasm?
20 minutes away from a corn field and 40 minutes (w/o traffic) away from the heart of Chicago

That or Indiana. I mean, seriously. Indiana? Is there anything actually memorable about it?

You mean beside the Colts? No.

So, Hermit-dear, have you given any thoughts as to your alternate summer plans?

Well, Cira-button, I’m probably going to take most of your advice, actually. Looking into summer classes at the community college, and hopefully I’ll have enough time around that to get some creative production in. It’s looking O.K. for the future.

Though, now I really must depart for Faulkner’s ladies.

so essays on teenage pregnancy are really boring.

Anybody home? I’ve been apprehensive about returning to chat seeing as I was rejected and using the TASP thread to talk about subjects other than TASP after being rejected from TASp doesn’t seem proper to me. I can only assume the other rejects feel the same because of the complete lack of posts today.

Should we rejects start a new thread where we can just chat about anything?, much like what we did on this thread prior to being rejected?

Sounds good to me, Donny! They can get to 500 pages on their own, IF THEY CAN. Probably not, seeing as we are far superior chatters.

What should the thread be called? where should it be placed? how do you even make a thread? (:

Hey, Cira!

I dunno, would it be too self-deprecating to just call it EPIC TASP FAILURES? They might get mad about the all caps. Probably High School Life…

How was your day, Donny?

While I would have loved TASP undobtedly, I don’t think the thread should be based on TASP rejection. The memories would be too bitter. ):
High School Life is perfect. Do you want to do it, or should I?

My day was alright. My package of EPIC TASP FAILURE cd’s arrived. THey are currently soothing my brains.
I kinda feel bad however, because my boss texted me earlier asking if I could work tomorrow, and I lied, saying that I had to babysit for my neighbor because she has to go to a funeral, none of which is true, but I don’t want to work just because I’m too nice to say no, so for this one time I’m going to experience what it feels like to be a selfish ass, and you know what? it feels nice, albeit kinda dirty. (:

You can make it. Bwahaha, now you have to define us as a group. (:

It always sounds so funny to hear about adults texting people, or having Myspaces or anything like that. It’s so anachronistic.

I love selfishness. Being shallow is even better sometimes. Used in moderation, they are terribly nice. (:

Don, I feel like I should adopt a Porna alter ego and pounce on that statement. But, you know? I won’t. I just won’t.

Eh, go ahead if you feel like it Classik. I don’t think she’ll be about innuendoing anymore, we might as well find a replacement to keep things interesting. (:

The irony of me, the student who a teacher spoke of as too “descriptive” having to write a title summarizing the entirety of the TASP rejects’ culture astounds me.
Any suggestions? All I can think of right now is “Shooting the Collegiate Breeze.”
