I’m supposed to arrive at 11:15 on the 29th in Ithaca. Anyone from California going to fly out of LAX?

I am - on a red eye. Haha. From LAX at 9:50 pm into Philadelphia at 6:10 am. A layover until 10:05 am, then I depart for Ithaca, where, as aforementioned, I get in at 11:15 am.

Omg, aspeedoffreak, I think we may be on the same flight! Are you going through US Airways? PM me - it would be awesome to know somebody on the flight!

Hah, I’ve actually never flown out of LAX before, but I’ve heard it gets pretty disgusting. I’m going to get there at least three hours before my flight. I’d rather have time to kill than have to rush everywhere. And aspeedofreak will be there to waste time with me. Whoo!

aspeedofreak, if you meant you would teach ME how to swim, that’s really sweet, but I’m going to UMich
If you didn’t mean that then I’d drown right now in my own pool of distorted interpretation lol :D

haha. there’s absolutely no way that you could know that we will never, in this life, meet, and that during this meeting, i will teach you how to swim.

I keep trying and miserably failing to explain what TASP is to my friends. I think I’ve tried it at least 8 different ways and every time they just go: “oh, that’s cool.”

At this point I just tell them to google it…

hecknoteckno…i love your username. At any rate, the factota letter reccommend bringing a swimsit so I’m pretty sure swimming if permitted…at Cornell atleast

Do you think the professors and factota will like at our application (i.e. our essays) before we arrive in order to get a better feel for who we are??? (Academically/intellectually?)

good question, should I ask jessica?
I read some of the other taspers essays, but now I really wonder what the person behind it is like…
Well, I’ll find out this summer :)
