<p>Essay 5 isn’t happening for me… everything I write sounds ridiculous and boring. Can anyone give me an idea about how much they wrote, what kind of stuff they’re looking for, how to go about writing it etc?</p>

<p>i totally feel you! i’m stuck on the first essay, the critical analysis. nothing sounds right. grr. by the fifth one, you mean the one where you had to chose which seminar you’d like to attend, right? i just looked up what would be discussed in each and explained simply why i’d be interested.</p>

<p>^ yeah, I’m having difficulties with #5. Do people write a mini-essay for each? I only have around 600 words for it… My #1 and #3 are fairly long, #2 not at all, and I have some serious work to do on #4. Gahhhh… I probably shouldn’t be on here :(</p>

<p>I’m having issues with #2 and #3. I’m thinking that I might entirely rewrite #2 and I’m halfway through #3. I’m freaking out a little bit. So I should probably disappear or cut off the Internet or something so that I can get these done.</p>

<p>What kind of stuff did people write for 5? I guess I’m just a little confused about how to go about writing it; the first one I did was just me summarizing the topic and at the end saying I found it fascinating. It just seemed weird.</p>

<p>@neverending–I did basically the same thing, starting out with a summation and then ending with a generic “I would find this very intriguing…blah blah” but I think I might re-edit it to actually show how it relates to me on a personal level. I think the TASP people will know that #5 will be a little generic just due to the topic of the essay. I still have the first 4 essays to go. Grr though this thread is soo helpful, it’s such a procrastination tool because I keep tricking myself that I’m actually improving my chances of getting in by reading this thread, while the clock just keeps ticking…</p>

<p>Hey guys, after entirely rewriting 2 of my essays (#3 and #2) I…SUBMITTED!!!</p>

<p>I couldn’t breathe for a second when I pressed submit.
But I’m glad I did it, I can finally move on with my life.
This has drained almost half of my brain cells for 2 weeks,
again, good luck everyone, hope to see every one of you there!</p>
