Oh wow guys - that gives us an incredible…6.0952381% chance of getting in…

What surprises me is that <50 out of 1050 who applied are CC members. Of course, there are those who didn’t put themselves on the list but still…that’s only 4.76%

And I second the backup plan question. Any suggestions??? Everything else is for math or science… I may apply to a couple research programs but if I did go, I would mainly be doing it for college apps whereas TASP was something that I completely, genuinely would LOVE to attend. May go to Harvard SSP - idk.

If you think about it, people from CC are likely to be some of the most qualified applicants out there. So I’d say our chances are better than most to at least snag an interview. :)

That’s what I thought too… I’m most likely attending Girls’ State but it’s not very long. I’ll probably do that and Harvard SSP or I was looking into FTE (Econ) - does anyone know anything about that? Probably going to apply to HSHSP, NIH, etc. too. (Just going in with the mindset that I didn’t get in when planning for this summer - much safer that way and then’ll still be motivated to actually fill out more apps :))

I hope…but anyone who knows about the program and then completes the 6 essay application is bound to be very qualified…but I hope…

I just decided to read over my essays for the first time since submitting, and I realized that I accidentally deleted the conclusion to my first essay as I was editing it at the last minute. So it seems like it just ends randomly. I’m sort of upset right now :(

Mentos-- Thanks! I kind of did that on Friday. But I couldn’t find an email address for an admissions officer so I just wrote an email in the Contact Us section of the website–where you’re supposed to request information. Idt that was the best place haha.

The email I received after submitting my application said to check the activity page to verify that it has been “picked up”. I’m not sure what indicates this though. Should it just have a date after “confirmed”?

@Collegebound Have you got an reply yet? I think you should better email directly to telluride@cornell.edu cuz I thought no one ever checks the contact us section. It’s an unfounded bias though.
