I have resolved not to check my college/summer program email until I see other people posting things on here about emails. I would spend every 5 minutes refreshing my inbox otherwise. I have all the nervousness.

I don’t remember exactly the amount they suggest may get an interview… but I think it’s around 120-130… roughly double the amount they will finally accept.

@CalliopeWrites: Yup, my literary analysis was terrible. Generally, literary analysis is “my thing,” so I spent so long agonizing over how perfect mine should be, since it was my place to shine, that…I ended up cobbling together something half-hearted the night it was due :-/

it’s been a long way but I can’t believe it’s almost here.

I just wanted to wish everyone good luck! Whether or not we get in, it was a great experience applying and challenging ourselves to critically think about our essays. We are all obviously driven academically if we are applying to a program as prestigious as this one. I’m 95% nervous and 5% excited to see if I get an interview or not…it’s getting closer and closer to interview notification! lol Once again, good luck to all! :)

I’m regretting half my essays that I sent in now. but meh, what’s a guy to do?

I wasn’t on this list, but I also was rejected. I just wish I hadn’t spent all my time during midterms week working on my app instead of studying… now I just feel like it was a huge waste of time.
haha and sorry but can we not put my name on this list? because i don’t feel like having “leahmarie - no interview” show up another hundred times.
