Rejected.
Looking back, I have no regrets. It’s all good.

I would be really interested in trading essays with anyone who wants to trade, however! :)

Rejected. I don’t know why it upsets me so much, but it does. I reallly hope this is not an indicator of the rejections I’ll be receiving from the other summer programs I applied to. I’m fine with having my rejection added to the list though :P

Interview. To all those who didn’t get one, I have no idea what I did to deserve one. At all. I’m terrified that I’m going to come across as an utter moron in person. Oh sweet Jesus.

But not particularly bothered by it. I’m already in at Governor’s School, which the one TASPer I’ve talked to said was much more enjoyable anyhow. :)

Anyone selected for an interview want to tell us about their essays? I’m curious… And good luck to you all!

I’m still surprised because my essays are full of errors
and my list of books? only five. None of them are of complicated matters
my 1st essay was a response to a nonfiction article.

lol leahmarie, if you may think I’m joking, I am not. Seriously, when I read those essays that I wrote, they are unnecessarily verbose. There are silly grammatical mistakes, too.
I think the program is looking for personality.

Hey. Long time lurker here. I was expecting to feel crushed, but overall, it doesn’t feel as bad as I thought it would. I do regret not spending enough time on my application. Won’t make that mistake again. We’re all going to have great summers!
