Ive seen Real Woman Have Curves & Legally Blonde.
Legally Blonde we saw outside in a parking lot and there were costume contests and other entertainment to occupy ourselves before it got dark.
We hadnt seen it before- but most of the audience was very familiar with it.

I might have seen Risky Business, but I think I was paying more attention to making out on the couch w my boyfriend.

what was that movie called, starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and that dude from Mummies Return, about this group of kids trying to get into Harvard. They had to go through this Jeopardy question contest, and if they answered all the questions right, then it was actually a bfd. But one of the guys (played by Matt Damon) cheated, and the whole class basically lost their chance to get into Harvard. what was that movie, and why wasn’t it on the list?

Ok…I’m showing my true colors here…Legally Blond is one of my favorite movies. I also loved Miss Congeniality…ok that has nothing to do with college but it shows you my taste (or lack of it) in movies.

I’ve seen 4 of them (Risky Business, Rudy, Legally Blond, and Spanglish). I also watch Legally Blond if I come across it while I’m channel surfing.

Hey, I watch School Ties (written and produced by Dick Wolf of Law & Order; reputedly autobiographical) whenever its on. Matt Damon was such a coniving little so and so.

Risky Business is a favorite. Soul Man is inane, but funny nevertheless.

Accepted definitely deserved a place on that list, much more so than some of the others. That was a super-fine B movie. I also might have included Good Will Hunting on that list – basically a college admission movie, albeit not by traditional means. And a very good movie.

The Chosen might also qualify.

Then there’s Hoop Dreams and The Blind Side.

Legally Blonde is tons of fun, but it’s about law school and law school admissions, not college. Spanglish, other than using a college admission essay as a framing device, has nothing whatsoever to do with college.

Class was a movie in 1983 starring Rob Lowe and Andrew McCarthy. It covers prep school but also has some discussion about getting into college. It was filmed literally outside my freshman dorm window so my claim to fame is that I came within 10 feet of Rob Lowe and have a picture to prove it. It wasn’t a great movie though.
