tense confusion

When would be the correct time to use past paticiple?

depends on what tense the passage is written in.

when do u use whom in a sentence?

to whom, for whom, of whom

“who” is the nominative/subjective pronoun case. “whom” is the objective case. I suck at coming up with examples, but here are a few:

Who is hosting the party?
Who is your favorite basketball player?
Ann is the teacher whom I hold in the highest regard.
For whom are the flowers?

here’s what you do:

flip the sentence around and turn it into a statement and if you can put he or she in place then use who if you can put him or her then use whom.

its for whom…its for her…not its for he…so you use whom.
