Tepper Chances and Questions

<p>I’m a rising senior and I’m interested in applying to CMU’s Tepper undegrad business program. I realize there are a lot of threads like this so sorry if these are repeat questions.
Here are my questions about the school:

  1. What is Tepper best for/known for (i.e. finance, operations management, marketing, etc.)?
  2. What do most grads do after Tepper? Where do they get jobs or what kinds of grad schools do they go to?<br>
  3. Is their a required core for Tepper? How rigorous is the program?
  4. Does CMU offer any merit scholarships or just need-based?</p>

<p>What are my chances…
stats: GPA: 94-95 uw SAT I: cr.m.w: 710/770/800 SATII: mathii/bio/us: 760/730/730
(taking ACT this month, retaking mathII taking Lit in October)
APs: Bio, US, Lang, Euro-5s Microecon, Macroecon-4s
ECs: Regional DECA President+International Finalist, Varsity Tennis Captain, Mock Trial Captain, Model UN Chair/Officer, Alto Saxophone/Sitar (Indian Instrument)-6 yrs.
extra notes: I’m Asian (Indian), an NYS resident</p>

<p>Seriously, just do a little more research (google) before asking these sort of gen. questions; they’re not hard to find.</p>
