Test Scores

<p>I realize the focus of admissions isn’t on test scores, but nonetheless I’m sure it can make or break an application. So my question is, will these scores show the admissions officers I’m capable of handling MIT? I’m from a small 5A (largest division) school in West Texas, the middle of nowhere.</p>

<p>SAT
Critical reading: 780
Math: 730
Writing: 720</p>

<p>SAT II
Biology-M: 760
Math II: 700
Physics: 700</p>

Their comments are usually along the lines that students with 7s in the first digit are certainly qualified, but that even scores in the 700s are not required of admitted applicants.</p>
