Test Takers

Should I take Test Takers or not? My parents think it will be useful but I don’t think so.

Your parents are deeply misguided. Save the money and buy your self a few good SAT prep books and you’re set- just don’t forget to use them. Prep classes are basically just audio blue prints of the books; tutors take centuries to go through one lesson, and most are filled with kids who are there not because they want to be there, but because their parents coerced them. Private tutoring can help- but unless your parents are loaded I would avoid that as well.

Yea, I already got SAT books. Lets see. Barron’s Hot Words, Writing Workbook, their SAT book, College Board’s Official SAT book (the big fat blue one). Should I get more books and if yes, what company, such as Kaplan’s or Princetons.

The types of books you should get and what company you should get them from depends entirely on your current score range and weaknesses. PM me with more info regarding your scores, strengths, weaknesses and Ill help you out the best I can.
