Alright, here’s my situation. I am a junior who managed to drop an atomic bomb on the SAT I and get a 2400 in a single sitting. There’s the SAT I side of the equation.

As far as SAT II’s, I dropped a proportional payload on World History last year and got an 800. But I just got my recent results from June back and I got a 770 in Math IIC and a a 700 in Physics!! I’m not unhappy just somewhat surprised because I got clean 800’s on the released Math II’s and a 790 on the released Physics exam. I really felt like both tests just happened to test the specific areas I was weakest on.

So how does that make me look? I know I’d rather have a 2400 on my SAT I than three 800’s on different SAT II’s. But will the 770/700 make much of a difference at the end of the day? Especially considering I’m applying as a humanities guy, I have awards/EC’s/recs to back this up. I’ll be applying to Stanford SCEA.
