Texans for Yale

The Texas graduation requirements include a lot of classes that are not offered for honors credit, so it pulls your GPA down. Is it necessary to worry about that?

No, remember that they look at you compared to the other students in your school, in terms of gpa. They’re aware of our Texas graduation requirements and will hardly punish you for taking the classes necessary to graduation. Don’t worry about it and just do the best in the classes you’re in.

yeah, Yale understands how the system works wherever you’re applying from. they want to make you look the best you can in comparison to the other kids in the applicant pool.

ps- yay Texas. i room with a Texan. yeehaw.

The stars at night, are big and bright clap clap clap DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!!!

Man…I’m gonna miss Texas. I think Texans should be considered international students, we might as well be a different country!

Oh, no doubt. My roommate taught me that Texas is its own country.
Then I backed him up by reminding him it actually was!
He’s got a pretty sweet Texan flag over his desk.

Go Texans!

WOOHOO! Go South Texas :0 We are a state in the nation of TEXAS!

Honestly, Texas rocks. :)

When people from outside the U.S. think about our states, they can always name three - New York, California, and Texas!!!

Only because those states have the largest populations. They can also generally name Florida, too.

Still…Texas is scary. :(

Texas is not scary in any way whatsoever.
