Just rec’d my Texas State Board Report and thought I would share the following regarding the latest available passing rates…

For those with undergrad degree taking the Uniform CPA Exam for the first time and passing ALL sections of the exam in ONE sitting: Texas A&M ranked 7th and UT-Austin ranked 10th nationally.

For those with undergrad degree taking the exam for the first time and passing at least one of four sections: UT-Austin ranked 1st and Texas A&M ranked 2nd nationally.

For those with advanced degree taking the exam for the first time and passing ALL sections in ONE sitting: Texas A&M ranked 3rd and UT-Austin ranked 6th nationally.

Overall, by jurisdiction, the State of Texas had the 2nd highest pass rate on all four sections of the uniform CPA exam. Utah had the highest pass rate.
Others in the top ten are: SD, IA, WY, ND, NE, MD, MA, GA.

Not sure what this says about the Midwest…lol! Guess we love to crunch those numbers.
