<p>I was at work last night and when I got home my mom said Texas A&M had called to ask me some questions. The lady is going to call back tonight. I have my full application submitted and just waiting for the reply. None of my buddies that applied at A&M got this call.</p>

<p>Who knows? Maybe there’s something a little odd about your application. They might be looking for an explanation for something or be questioning an apparent discrepancy. Maybe some supplemental material (teacher rec?) hasn’t arrived. The upside of this is that they’re calling you to sort out the situation. If I were in your shoes I’d get out my copy of the application, read it over, relax and wait for the call.</p>
<p>What did they ask you? I got a call from TAMU asking if I was interested in joining the Corps of Cadets… I suspect that this will be your call.</p>
<p>I said no thanks and I was offered admission.</p>
