Texas A&M Class of 2028 Official Thread

Nothing here either. Hopefully tomorrow!!

I’d love to be able to see a daily graphic of “applicants waiting to receive decision” which would be the remaining number of applicants who had not received full admit, any TEAM or TEAB type offers, PSA offers, or rejection emails. Is it still 20K people waiting on a decision? 10K? Just us (which it can feel like sometimes)?

We are waiting too…

I’m still waiting too. You’re not alone.

We’re working on our patience over here after getting the options weeks ago, too. One of the presenters this past weekend at Aggieland Saturday said Housing is now only offering temporary housing, but will be moving to waitlist after this week. I’d really like to get my daughter’s deposit down before that move is made.

Yeah… this waiting stinks!!! Especially since I assured son#2 that he was IN since son#1 got TEAM a few days later in 2022. We even told the whole family  I’m still pretty confident it’s just a matter of days, but I sure wish they would get their numbers in. Hang in there, everyone!!

I wonder how many Blinn Team/Waitlist offers they send out?! There are many of us just on this site waiting to hear back.

I didn’t even get options :sob:

I feel like as a general guide TAMU’s offers are usually about twice the number of those who accept the offer. These are the Blinn Team participation numbers throughout the history of the program. What I’d like to know is what is the cap of seats they can offer.

Along with that graph, I’d love to see the wine sales/consumption over the same time frame. :joy:

And what explains the ups and downs. Given last year’s pop and past trajectory, this could be a record year (offers and/or yield driven).

Great point about the housing situation when moving from Galveston to CSTAT. With this consideration along with the high OOS tuition ($54k at Galveston), the Galveston + CSTAT option becomes even less appealing for OOS students.

For anyone who has applied to Galveston, what was the turnaround for a response? We are at 6 months of waiting for CSTAT…no change in buttons or anything still. Does his application to Galveston trigger anything at CSTAT? Just want to make sure that does not hurt his chances there just in case he still had a chance for a TEAM offer :cold_sweat:

My son applied to Galveston on Friday, and according to SCOIR, his high school counselor sent his transcripts, letters of rec, school profile, etc. to Galveston that same day. This morning, he got an email from Galveston saying the application has been received. AIS shows it to be incomplete due to missing transcripts. I assume it takes a couple of days to get those transcripts aligned with his application. If the incomplete status doesn’t change in the next couple of days, my son will talk to the counselor personally again and ask her to re-submit the transcript because I guess it is possible it didn’t get matched with his application because the transcript was sent the same day he applied.
I have never seen anything indicating that applying to Galveston separately triggers anything in regard to the CS app.

Took about a week on my kid for it to show “all received.”

I imagine they could offer more TEAM seats if they restrict the number of TAMU classes to one per TEAM student. That is something advisors could control during summer registration. Ya know… just in case any administrators are reading these comments

Here is another bit of information- my daughter’s friend is a freshman TEAM student. They told her friend she had to graduate from TEAM. Maybe they are making more space for incoming freshman?

The TEAM “recent graduates” data for Mays may not be that accurate, given these graduates were granted business when the GPA barrier was 3.5.

Agree, Mays numbers seem ‘high’’…I think you are absolutely correct.
