My kiddo has the same NET ID. You just toggle between them in a drop down. Stay patient, takes a couple of days before it all looks like you’d expect.
Mine has the same UIN. Applied on Friday and this morning AIS had the Galveston application listed as in review.
My daughter for the “check AIS” yesterday at 11 am and got PSA today after 4 pm. She is excited and already submitted her response with CC as her campus. Thanks to the people who have talked about the benefits of PSA - I think it will be a great year for her!
She also got accepted at UTD and Texas State for neuroscience /something like that and still wants to go to CC for a year. She is really comfortable in Corpus (we own a condo in Port Aransas) so I feel like it’s a good fit for her
Former PSA here. I did it in Corpus and LOVED it there! If you haven’t already joined the PSA/PTA parent Facebook page, it was sooooo helpful going through the process. I’m in my second semester at TAMU, and so happy how everything turned out. Here’s the FB link: Texas A & M - Parents of PSA/PTA Students | Facebook
I agree. A&M should be clearer on their admittance policies, especially when it comes to Mays and Engineering.
My kid’s application finally ended with a PSA offer, all schools showing as options. She wants to do Animal Science and we are 90% convinced Texas Tech is now the best option, but want to make sure we understand the PSA options as well. Animal Science is not a selectable PSA degree choice, and no other choices even look that close to an avenue in to even switching to Animal Science if you completed the PSA requirements and move to College Station. Seems like a dead end as an option, really.
@TamFam i am sorry.
Take the TX Tech offer and don’t look back!
New Vet School, fantastic opportunities!
They are lucky to get your girl!
We were seeing the same thing…all options available, but no real comparable degrees. Tech is a great school and I so wish our daughter had applied there. They have a very solid animal science program and if vet school is a goal for your daughter, she can apply junior year and if accepted start their vet program as a senior undergrad. And last time I checked they only accept in-state applicants too. Lots of wins there!! Good luck to your daughter!
Hey guys I checked my AIS this morning and my change major button is gone but my location still shows CSTAT. My howdy still has 5 tabs. Im so nervous ahhhhh
I would call the TAMU College of Ag & Life Sciences and ask what major a PSA student should take if they want to be an animal science majors. I am a former PSA student in the College of Ag and they are so cool about letting students transfer to other majors within the college or department.
@jpoz unfortunately that most likely means you will be offered PSA.
Steph8, My son got the same - PSA. Disappointed but then also encouraged by this page that it could work out. What is your daughter’s major and why did you choose Corpus Christi? Vs. San Antonio for example?
Tee2, what is your major? How easy was transfer process and transition to TAMU?
@Tee2 I just have to say, as a parent, it is so refreshing to see you here telling your story about being bummed about PSA initially, going to CC and loving it, and showing everyone there is always a path and to stay positive. You seem like a very smart kiddo with a very positive outlook. Great to see! I am sure you are destined to do great things!
@FriscoDad (or really anyone who can answer) - Where can I find historical admission information about the ACT scores for holistic kids? I’ve seen a lot of posts about SAT scores, but not ACT scores and because they just switched to the digital SAT, my HS junior son is planning to only take the ACT (unless there is a reason to take the SAT instead/in addition). Knowing what score he should aim for may be helpful as we move forward. Thanks.
Well, I think my theory is blown since it seems that the PSA offers I am seeing the last couple days are not engineering.
It really doesn’t make any sense to me why they’re waiting so long on sending out the Team offers? I know I’m preaching to the choir. Thanks for letting me vent.
I don’t have the stats, but shoot for no less than a 30. Higher than that and first quarter should get you a spot if not wanting Mays. If wanting Mays, there’s still a shot, just no hard core number to guarantee you a spot.
Vent away! I was thinking this morning that they are getting all the PSAs out now and then they’ll swoop in with TEAM offers for those with options and then they’ll get into the weeds with those that chose both and sort that out.
