I am praying for all of you guys! We got our news in January but I keep checking in every day on all my peeps over here to make sure we all get in. What a community. I would have definitely drank a beer with all of you while in college. Let’s hope it’s a good news week leading into spring break!

Godspeed, parents.

We appreciate all the updates, advice, and funnies along the way. It’ll be nice to FINALLY know where we are going. Here’s to us all graduating to the next step of anxiety of finding housing.

Makes me wonder how much Tiera really knows about what’s going on at TAMU!!

Maybe they hit the button today and we find out tomorrow. I don’t see any updates on Reddit or Facebook either.

Yeah everyone ran with “they’re being released on Monday.”

Released on Monday morning? Released into the system, and then into us later in the day or even tomorrow?

I wouldn’t tie the source to the stake…it’s early, and it’s the only thing resembling inside intel we’ve had. Let’s see how the next 24 hours play out…

I slept with my laptop next to my bed so I could check first thing in the morning. Madness! This is like a crazy Groundhog Day, coal in your Christmas stocking morning. I need coffee!

Really, really hope we know by Friday! We were hoping to have our final decision and do any extra tours during Spring break.

I am just defeated this morning. We are in Seattle visiting grandparents for a surprise party and it has been so hard to hear everyone ask my son where he is going to college. His grandpa talked about A&M all weekend, since he was there in 1960. He even showed his own dad’s saber from when he was in the Corp in the 40’s. My son would be a 4th generation Aggie, and here we are waiting for “B” team. Both his parent have gone to A&M as well. His cousin, who live up here in Seattle got in to Mays in October, not even being ranked in his top 40 percent really has hit him as well. His cousin hasn’t even committed yet, so we are all at a loss for words. I don’t know how much longer I can do this without breaking down in tears.

Enough of that. You’ve got this. Waited patiently for 7 months…less patiently for the last 5.5 weeks…you can make it another day or two.

Also, no more of this “B-Team” stuff. I understand where that’s coming from…but you see the resumes of all our kids that are waiting. There’s no B-Team in that. These are highly, highly qualified candidates eyeballing a few precious spots at the greatest overall university in the world - it’s worth waiting for.

Keep going…

B Team? There are NO B Team students where we sit. My 28’ has gotten into all the schools she applied to, except the one that brought us here. She’s been accepted into Honors colleges, received scholarships from both OU and LSU, & has a 3.94 GPA from a highly competitive HS in one of the best ISD’s in the state. We have NO “B Team” students on this thread. These kids don’t owe anyone an explanation, and neither do you.

Even if things don’t go our way, it’s A&M’s loss, not our kids.

I’m so sorry! It has to be so hard being around all the family like that. I get it!
But I can assure you this is no B TEAM….pun intended :smiling_face: My sophomore Aggie has Loved the smaller classes and professors. He lived in Hullabaloo, joined a frat and transferred successfully into Mays. It all worked out!
We gotta dig deep now and just get through this week!!! Hang in there :kissing_heart:

In my opinion, TAMU wants that OOS money from a state that doesn’t send many kids to TAMU. Your family would be crazy to spend that much to send him to TAMU.
