Pretty sure TAMU doesn’t need outta state money to keep them afloat, lol. They do take a certain percentage but that also helps to get different perspectives and experiences from the student body.

Regardless what happens, your son will be an Aggie, even if he doesn’t start as a full admit. I had good stats, 3.8 gpa (out of 4.0), first quarter, good ECs, etc., and got PSA in 2022. That PSA year went sooooo fast, and here I am in my second semester as an Aggie! I know it’s a hard wait, but I think there’s still good news to come for the students waiting.

They added more information to the top of AIS again in the red…… it just says people that didn’t select an option. Will now get an error message… But at least it looks like they are doing something.

Question… is there anyone on here that didn’t receive options and still hasn’t received a decision? I’m pretty sure everyone except option people have heard… is this correct?

I’m confused (and don’t have access to my daughter’s Howdy.). What does it say?
This is what it says :
*Non-Engineering TEAM and Waitlist respondents will have a decision very soon, the deadline to choose TEAM or WAITLIST was March 1st. Those who did not respond by deadline will get an error. Engineering options must be selected by April 1st.

This is now at the top. My guess is that people who didn’t choose an option suddenly started trying to do so, and then led to calls saying “why can’t I pick?” Occam’s Razor.

Same!! I’m spiraling at the thought that we assumed we were “in” when we selected TEAM only and now that may not be true… It’s an awful feeling to have possibly given your kid false hope and making the assumption based on the past. Arghhhhh, this is torture.

I still think that they have likely not changed their process in determining Team offers for those who chose team only. But I think they are just not releasing those until they have the other waitlist people solidified as much as possible, then releasing all at the same time.
I am in the “we chose both” boat and worried we may fall through the cracks, butI think team only folks are still going to be fine. Maybe that’s just me wishing I had picked team only.
Either way, for the love…. Just release something!

Yesterday I fasted and prayed. I don’t know if everyone will get the decisions they want, but either way we all need peace and wisdom when making college decisions.
I also figured if I don’t get the decision I am hoping for, at least I will be able to eat!
I hope we hear something tomorrow! I am also wondering if everyone will get an answer on the same day or if they will release all week.
